So yesterday me and my friend Sarah drove to Geneva for some coffee. When me and my husband were living in the apartment in Geneva I went to Starbucks almost every day and I can really miss having a proper coffee shop just around the corner. I mean, the French capuccinos are not bad at all but nothing beats a tall soya latte once in a while!

Geneva always offers some great scenes for a photo shoot so we took the opportunity to take some outfit pictures. My bump is really starting to show now!

I just have to share a really funny story, being an expat in a country where you’re not fluent in the native language it feels like you always end up in these awkward situations! So yesterday morning I went to the grocery store and while there I started looking for a mouse trap without any luck. I found two employees who were working on the floor and decided to ask them – of course non of them spoke English! So I started to explain in French that I had a mouse situation in my house and started to demonstrate how I wanted the mouse, ‘souris’, to be dead, ‘mort’, by clapping my hands like a ‘swoosh’. Oh my God, I must have just made their day! And the worst thing is that they were out of mouse traps so I really did a fool out of myself for nothing, hahaha! Well well, what can you do but smile?

New design, new name, new start!

Welcome to my new site – Postcards from Josefine! I felt I really needed a fresh start and I hope you like both the name and the the new design. Thank you so much dear Isabell N Wedin for helping me with the header!

This spring I have some small trips planned around Europe – hopefully I’ll be able to show you places like Lugano, Milan and Paris, and of course a lot of places around Geneva, before our baby is being born. As my belly is growing and I am visiting all these wonderful places I felt I really needed to update my wardrobe and ordered some new dresses. You can tell I really have a thing for lace at the moment and nothing feels as good as wearing flowy dresses when being pregnant. I’m looking forward to show you some new looks shortly!

My husband has left for a weekend in Chamonix with some of his childhood friends so I’ve bunkered up with a lot of food, new flowers, movies and books – but first I’m off for some Starbucks in Geneva with my friend Sarah. Hope you’re all having a great Friday!
