So yesterday me and my friend Sarah drove to Geneva for some coffee. When me and my husband were living in the apartment in Geneva I went to Starbucks almost every day and I can really miss having a proper coffee shop just around the corner. I mean, the French capuccinos are not bad at all but nothing beats a tall soya latte once in a while!
Geneva always offers some great scenes for a photo shoot so we took the opportunity to take some outfit pictures. My bump is really starting to show now!
I just have to share a really funny story, being an expat in a country where you’re not fluent in the native language it feels like you always end up in these awkward situations! So yesterday morning I went to the grocery store and while there I started looking for a mouse trap without any luck. I found two employees who were working on the floor and decided to ask them – of course non of them spoke English! So I started to explain in French that I had a mouse situation in my house and started to demonstrate how I wanted the mouse, ‘souris’, to be dead, ‘mort’, by clapping my hands like a ‘swoosh’. Oh my God, I must have just made their day! And the worst thing is that they were out of mouse traps so I really did a fool out of myself for nothing, hahaha! Well well, what can you do but smile?
