Lake Como

 

On the way back from Milano to Geneva the other week we decided to stop by Lake Como and Lugano. I never seem to stop being surprised by how many beautiful places there are in Europe and I’m such a lucky girl who gets to visit so many of them. What I love most about Europe is all the old beautiful architecture – you can almost feel the history and also that all countries and areas have their own style. 

Como is a small Italian village located by lake Como on the border to Switzerland. We didn’t see much of the village but it holds numerous works of art, churches, gardens, museums, gardens and palaces. What is the most spectacular about this village is it’s location by the water with houses built on the hills facing the water. I can imagine that this is a great place bringing a family to spend some hot summer days! 

We had to get rid of some energy before getting in to the car again so me and London chased each other – I just love these pictures as we always do this when we have to cross a field, haha! ❤

Road trip

Det blev en väldigt kul road trip och vi fick se några riktigt fina ställen! Mina favoriter var Route des Vines i Burgundy samt Moseldalen. Åker mer än gärna tillbaka till Burgundy snart för en weekend då det bara är ett par timmar från Genève!

We had a fun road trip and got to see some beautiful places! My favourite areas were Route des Vines in Burgundy and the Moselle Valley. I would love to spend some more time in Burgundy soon as it’s only a couple of hours from Geneva!

Hello house!

Igår signerade vi kontrakt på ett hus och den 1 november går flyttlasset till fantastiskt vackra Divonne-les-Bains! Kan knappt förstå att jag äntligen ska få en trädgård och T har redan planerat att köra ner till Chateauneuf-du-Pape området för att hämta hem lite vinrankor så att vi kan börja odla, haha! Efter signeringen igår gav vi oss iväg på vår roadtrip på väg mot Sverige, vi tar en liten de-tour om Frankrike och befinner oss just nu i Burgundy-området. Ska spana in lite vingårdar här och sakta ta oss upp mot Luxemburg och sedan Tyskland. Hoppas ni har en härlig lördag!

Yesterday we signed a contract for this townhouse in Divonne-les-Bains and I cannot wait until November 1st when we move in! I’ve longer for a garden for a long time and T has already planned to drive down to the Chateauneuf-du-Pape area to get some vines so that we can start cultivating, haha! After signing yesterday we started our road trip to Sweden, we’re taking a small detour to see some more of France and right now we’re in the Burgundy area. We’ll have a look at some vineyards here and slowly drive towards Luxembourg and then Germany. Hope you’re having a great Saturday!
